Heritage House Interiors is an award-winning, full-service interior design firm. We specialize in whole house design, including architectural input and and project management, as well as light commercial projects. Our work has taken us throughout New England, as well as numerous projects in Florida.
Every project is different. Every client is different. Whether it is a new construction or remodel, a traditional or modern design, we will work within your budget to create a fresh point of view that uniquely captures your personality and desires. Our goal is to provide excellent service to all of our clients throughout all aspects of the design process, working directly with you and with your architect or builder. We have a strong belief in the team approach, and value each members' contribution and input.
Karin Doolin-Coyle
principal and Lead Designer
Karin Doolin is an award winning interior designer, and a lover of design for her whole life. As a child and with the encouragement of her grandmother, she started by rearranging items on built-ins, moving up to repositioning rooms and then learning how to draw those rooms in scale. Now, with over twenty five years of career design experience, Karin has taken those early developed skills and transformed them into a successful design firm with a talented support staff. Known for her ability to improve architectural plans and her understanding of construction, Karin is comfortable with all aspects of the building process, assisting her clients with both interior and exterior finishes. From large commercial projects to intimate residential homes, she is a firm believer in a collaborative approach and strives to make each project unique and specific to the client. Her work has been featured in various magazines as well as on HGTV. Karin is a long term south shore resident, where she lives with her husband, two children, and one very special dog.
Eileen Fitzgibbons
Associate Designer
Eileen has always had a passion for beautiful things and interior spaces in particular. She was able to express her creativity by decorating the various homes she has lived in throughout the years. This lead to helping family and friends redesign their living spaces. The satisfaction she gained from these experiences lead her to take a leap of faith and leave the corporate world to pursue a career in interior design. She gained a greater knowledge of the architecture and interior design by completing the Boston Architectural College’s Residential Interiors Certificate Program.
The business/project management and communication skills she developed over the years really come in to play when managing a client’s budget and expectations. Eileen looks to incorporate the past and present in all her design schemes. “I love taking a classic style and adding a splash of transitional/modern elements to create a more current look and feel in the space”. Helping clients make better use of their existing furnishings while introducing new selections to create an updated design concept. Eileen prides herself in creating the perfect balance in a space by incorporating just the right amount of color and texture with wall coverings and fabric selections. The result is the creation of a more functional space that is unique and in line with how we live today.
